We are considering a couple of these for the kids next year to give us a little more room in the folding caravan. Can any one tell me is there enough room for a single air bed in them or would we have to use roll mats. Hope so as I don't think I could convince teenage son to give up comfy bed for a mat
Thanks
We can get 2 single air beds into a 2 second tent.
OH great I have never actually seen one in the flesh so no idea of size.
Thanks

We have one its been brilliant, have used it in all weathers without any problems. Have had some laughs packing it away but once you have the knack its easy. I also travel with the airbed already blown up in the caravan so I don't have to mess around when we get to site.
We bought one in France for the children to use as a play tent. I managed to lie down in it and I am just over six feet tall. As has been said previously dead easy to put up, just undo the strap and pop up then put the pegs in. For folding up the one we have, it has a diagram on a plastic sheet sewn into the carry bag along with various coloured tags on the tent itself to help. Looks hard at first, but easier with a little bit of practice.
Really easy to put up - slightly more difficult to pack away, but once you 'get it' its not so hard. In fact, I was helping a friend pack up another brand pop-up and did it the 'quechua' way and he said that I packed it smaller than when he bought it!
Quechua have great videos on their sites to show you how to pack them up - I downloaded this to my mobile in case I got really stuck lol! It makes so much more sense than the silly diagrams. Although, the quechuas do have handy coloured markers on them that make following the diagrams easier.
The Quechua ones come in a wider range of sizes than the Gelert, Vango and cheaper brands pop-ups - if you go for a quechua definitely consider an XL as you have a little porch area at the front for shoes etc. This is very useful - esp in bad weather!
I think they are a brilliant bit of engineering - but as you see from my profile I own one so I'm bias lol!

Thanks everyone, it would seem that they are very popular with everyone on here and apart from packing away, no negative points at all.
Their web site is very good and having watched the packing away video about 10 times now I feel that I would be able to do it first time! Famous last words.
The packing away isn't hard once you realise which way to twist it.
I sussed it second time of twisting but my Son gave up and left the tent in the garden for 2 weeks without telling me
------------- Dogs die in hot cars!
They also die if you leave them in the freezer.
Please keep your dogs at room temperature!
We have a Quechua 3 second which is definately a two man not a three man and an Outwell Jersey M which again is sold as a 3 man but we have a double airbed in it and room for our stuff (we have even cooked a couple of sausages in it one rainy morning). If you can, get a double skinned one as the Gelert quickpitch single skin ones are just too cold for me.
------------- Cheers,
