Hi Johnny, yes as you so rightly point out, Outwell are doing away with the Blue color range and replaced it with a Brown range. There are several new ranges to be released and some withdrawn and Im sure with Stoneleigh trade show taking place shortly someone will post some photo's here.

Looking at the present commercial trend and the inevitable increases for next year i think it would be prudent to buy next years tent now, there are some good deals to be had now on some great tents, unless you are fickle and rich enough to want the "new season must have tent" buy now

I am really interested to hear about outwell bringing out new tents in 2009. We were considering upgrading our sunvalley 6 (2005 model), but after it died a horrible death in August, we have decided against the new inproved sun valley 8 beacuse we want steel poles. We were keen on the sun valley 8 because of the new front canopy, but after the sun valley 6 died because of the fibre glass poles we are hoping that outwell will introduce a new tent with attached front canopy and steel poles. We will even tolerate the brown colour!!
Does anybody have any news on the new designs? If nothing suitable comes out i might settle for a vermont xl and buy this years model to save cash.

Have a look here if you want something that fits your criteria. Not sure of Royal quality but having been pitched next to a couple that stood up the same winds that our Outwell indiana survived, I can vouch for their strength.
Looks like a really good tent for a decent price.

Does anyone know whether 2009 will bring anything new to the smaller tents like Outwell oregons, Basically something for the weekend, without putting up the biggie and not crawling on all fours.

there is a new one called carolina 3 i think which is brown/mocha. looks nice but i am nor sure what berth it is there was a link to it on here somewhere...... try sunvalleysue post about 2009 tents.
