I thought they had gone bust a couple of years ago. That web site is dated 2004, so I hope nobody tries to order from it!!!!!

The Original Relums which I suspect Rex is talking about were manufactured in East Germany as was then, They were a cheaper tent than most but with the build quality of much more expensive models (due to their Gov subsidies) I still have an East German made Relum Pearl ridge & a Relum 7 both well over 20 years old both still very operational.

When the wall came down in germany Relum were not financialy viable for the new germany and the name was bought by an English company because of its quality reputation, unfortunately the new company did not produce their tents to the same standards as is very obvious when you put my old Pearl next to a more modern one

I notice that Rex's link is to a company called Terka and not the old Relum company its self

Guilty as charged4 berth Relum with large awning (19.99 buy it now) only used it once so far but very very impressed,I can erect it myself...5ft female and the weekend we tried it out it absolutly peed down but we were so cosy inside..coming from normally using modern polyester tents I was also amazed at how quiet it is inside when raining,I was so impressed I bought another old canvas frame tent off ebay...bit more though at £69..as I wanted a kitchen area and the Relum didnt have one,am  a total convert now though..only thing is what do I do with my 4 synthetic tents.....attics getting too small...
