Ive narrowd down my choice to :-
Outwell colarado 5

I agree that the Outwell is best in most respects but I like a SIG in the living area, so out of the three I'd go for the Gelert.

The outwell and the Gelert both have the same HH, which is better than the vango.
The gelert has a slightly less pack weight and a sig. Personally I think the Gelert is a nicer looking tent.
The Gelert gets my vote !

Look at the Sun Valley 6 oneBay at £135. You can mae the bedroom area one large area by unzipping the divider. Has sig and is 5000HH. Great tent and easy to put up------------- Keely :-))

If you are not too worried about sig, this item on ebay 250360460564 could be a good buy. Seller seems to be very honest about his descriptions. We had the 8 version and found it had great living space and solid as a rock in heavy wind and rain!
Worth a punt at thep price (dont let it go over 100 though especially sold as seen)

Well after much searching about on the net, reading reviews and basicaly doing what swmbo told me, i went for none of the original 3 choices!!
Went for the Outwell Minisota 6.
Bit of an overkill, but pitching looked easy, nice lot of space etc

Good tent.
See my review on the Minnesota 4 on an easy way to rectify a problem can can occur with the side porch (also see my gallery - photo 3).
However, have you budgeted for the footprint groundsheet and the extension? Both are somewhere between highly desirable and essential.

As I wrote on my review of the Minny 4, I don't find that the canopy over the side extension is not so pronounced as to allow you to leave the door permanently open when it rains, which is why I think that the extension is pretty much essential.
