We picked up our Bear Lake 4 yesterday - have you seen the size of them?????
It's as big and heavy as the Cabanon!!

Now know I/we marvelled at how Sue got her 6 into the Ka (no wonder she bought a new car) but I am really begining to think it really was a Tardis - good job we picked up the 'new' old volvo estate on the same day

Yep they are pretty big. I was considering a Wolf Lake 7 if we didn't get a frame tent and they are ENORMOUS.

Enjoy your lovely Bear Lake. Your OH is soooo understanding, mine won't let me have more than one tent (but I think I'm starting to win the "Barbados" argument, if it means he won't have to take me to camp with my friend and then pick me up!)

I keep telling you lot it was the OH this time Honestly - you don't believe me I know but it is true

They don't look that big when up but they are huge when packed.

I take it you are meaning the tent and not the country - OH thinks you mean going to Barbados will be cheaper than buying a Wolf Lake 7 ???

Going to Barbados would be far too hot for me. I have a very narrow comfort zone temperature-wise. Anything between 18 & 22 degrees and I'm fine, lower or higher and I complain like anything.

Hi Keely

Hope you enjoy your Bear Lake 4 as much as we do ours.

I totally underestimated how big the bags would be when we bought our BL6.

Shockingly large, especially when boxed!

Doesn't do the back any favours either when lifting it!

Worth it though aren't they? Enjoy...

We've got the Norfolk and the poles are practically unliftable on your own - good job the canvas is packed seperately
