thanks dezzie already read them but i wanted to know where the red pole went?? its only small and cant see on the diagram that came with it where it goes.
i suppose it will all come together when i first pitch it.
I got one yes. The red pole goes above the door. The black solid poles attach to the red pole to create the doorway.
I tried setting this tent up with my girlfriend during quite windy conditions. It was impossible. Does anyone have one of these tents and can give any tips on how to erect a Zenith 6 more easily??
We've got a Horizon 6, we've not used it anger yet (we're off to Wyreside Lakes next Friday for a couple of nights to try it out) but we've practised pitching it in the garden a couple of times. The first time took over an hour while we figured out what to do, the second and third times took about 20 mins. I found the easiest thing to do was fit all the poles first and then just start at one end and work your way along. I was pitching it with the help of my 13yr old daughter (with the OH supervising from the sidelines of course ) and like I said 20 minutes and it was up! I must admit it wasn't windy though.
