Ok OH and I are off to Scilly Isles, Got everything booked but now need to decide on the crutial factor, the TENT!

I have a Diablo 600 XP and a 3 man Dome tent with small porch etc that is fine ofr the odd night but we are going for a week.

Don't really want to take the Diablo in case the wind gets up and its going to get wrecked.

So suggestions please of a tent for 2 people to stay in for a week. Weight isnt an issue just soemthing that can withstand the elements (wind) without folding in and breaking poles. (Oh and I may buy some Deltas thanks to this site!)

OMG so jealous........seriously considered going myself this summer, but cannot manage to make my kit minimalist enought to go on the boat.

Blimey Jo you're lucky never to have it windy!....It's always blowing a gale when I go and I've been at all times of the year!....Let me know when you next go and I'll book the same time as you....I'll think of you as my lucky weather charm!

Rich wouldn't worry too much, just be prepared for a 'little' wind! The worst has happened to me a couple of times and all the campsite owners are very helpful and will not leave you out in the cold! We have been put up in barns and island halls etc...just adds to the fun!

Can't really recommend a modern stormproof tent but I am sure someone else will.

My latest tent in my profile has not succumbed to the Scilly wind yet...touch wood!
