Hello, i'm new to the site and just after some information on purchasing a new tent.
So, i'm after a new tent. I've had smaller stuff before and done a lot of wild camping, etc, etc. But now after something on the larger scale for breaks away. It needs to be big enough for me and my dog and possibly 1 more at times but also needs to be easy enough for one person to put up. I'm wanting something that will be able to stand up to heavy winds just incase.
I have been looking at the outwell oregon 3 as seen it for a good price.
Money isn't really an issue for the budget but I just though this tent represented good value for money by the looks of it.
Any one any views or can any reccomend a tent which may suit.
Thanks in advance

I've got an Oregan 5, purely because I need a tent I can stand up in. I love it. I looked at the Oregan 3 at the weekend on display and it looks very easy to erect with all the Outwell qualities you would come to expect from such a reputable company. Plenty of room for you and a dog and another person. What puts me off is the fact that I can't stand up in it, if this is not a problem for you and you can get it at a good price why not go for it? You can get tunnel tents that you CAN stand up in for a similar price to what the Oregan 3 sells for (You say you have a good price for it though) The tunnel tents are just as easy to erect solo (plenty of vids on 'You Tube'- wind permitting, so it will be entirely a matter of choice for you really.

Hi, if quality is one of the main criteria, and the budget is not an issue, have a look at a Karsten Tent - Fantastic in high winds, easy to inflate and are at the top end of the market.
Hi Carl
If money is not an issue then you need only to choose one of these, the best tents in the world The DeWaard tents click on the name then the boxes to see what goes with them .this is what I would recommend for you theand the dog.
