We've started looking for new tent ideas.....we've currently got a monty 12 which is getting quite worn now and it's really too big for us.  We haven't really got the money to buy from the outwell range this time as they are expensive...any ideas or suggestions for new tents would be great.  We had two family's in the monty but we're going to buying seperately this time so only looking for something approx 4-6 birth.

We do like a SIG although are bathtub's as good????  and i have in my mind that we need to be 3000 HH or above,....have i got this figure out of my imagination or is the more popular 2000 HH ok?  We have been spoilt a little as i think the monty was 5000!

many thanks in advance

The normal recommendation for HH is 1500 but considering the not so glorious weather, 2000HH would be better and certainly should be enough.

A bath tub is a raised groundsheet that usually attaches to the flysheet with toggles and hoops or something similar. Consider it a loose groundsheet with sides :)

This has been suggested on here a few times and it certainly is alot of tent for the money

If OH would consider a poly tent I would have one myself
