I want to say thank you to familyof4 for posting those pictures, Ive been so confused over which extension to buy and that Andrew watshisface from Vango is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Ive search everywhere for pictures of a real tent with the extension shown

well what a thread.

i too fell into the extension trap......i personally dont feel the vango website is very helpfull

i ended up buting the premium extension in smoke.........and after 40 mins of trying to erect it over the side door gave up

only then did i look on here.originally for tips....to realise its never gonna fit the side door, only the end door

wouldnt you think vango would make this perfectly clear on their website to avoid any confusion

so now gonna have to contact them and try and negotiate a swap for the tunnel extension

its a pity because i bought the tigris 800,footprint and tent rug and all three are great....this extention business just leaves a sour taste to vango.makes you think twice

except familyof four has anyone else got any joy from vango on this subject?

I haven't done a good job on the links I'm afaraid (not sure what I did wrong) but now I have worked it out!!

This link:http://www.vango.co.uk/products/tentslection.aspx?id=59 shows all the avilable canopies on their website.

This link:http://www.vango.co.uk/infohub/documents/vangotentadditions.pdf takes you to a Matrix that tells you which canopy fits which tent and where (end or side).

Personally found it simple and useful.

The Tunnel Extension or the Premium Extension?

We are interested in buying the Premium Extension, but wre wondering how it all went with your trial.
