We have bought an Oregon 4 for this years camping and have bought a footprint to go with it.

This is the first time we have used a footprint, and were under the impression that it would cover the whole of the underneath of the tent.

However, after a dummy pitch in our living room, it seems the footprint only covers the bedroom end of the tent and not the porch area.

Is this right or have we bought the wrong one???

The Oregon 5 footprint is the same - because the living area groundsheet is removable, it can be cleaned and therefore I assume that Outwell don't find it necessary to make the footprint the whole tent size as with the Montana for example.  Find this partial footprint a bit of a bugger to line up when pitching.

Was disappointed with it and wished I hadn't wasted my money on it.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Yeah I was a bit disappointed as we had bought it mainly to help keep the tent clean and avoid having to wash it down before putting it all in the boot of the car.

Oh well - at least it saves the bedroom side from getting messy!

Thanks
