While we were at Go Outdoors today, OH fell in love with the Norfolk Lake. He kept going in an out and plotting where we would put things. Its usually me that does this.
He was on the laptop when we got home looking at dimensions of it and other polycotton tents. I quite like Bear Lake 4 as our daughter is getting older and could go in a pup tent and I like North Sea with an extension, but it doesnt look in the same qualilty as the Lakes, although it is hundreds of pounds cheaper.
I keep saying to him, lets sell Monty and extension and thats money towards it. The weight and pack size is putting him off though from Norfolk Lake.
I think because even he was cold at the weekend, the polycotton tents are calling him. lol

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
we have a norfolk lake and would say its the best tent ever, talking to a fellow camper at site this weekend who has a bear lake. get either. do what we did found it cheaper online and took info to mitchells and they matched price.
We've got one and love it - the good thing I think as opposed to the Bear Lake is your can do your cooking etc in the front bit and keep the inside bit zipped up for quiet time or the evening - we call that bit our lounge!!
Those pics are fab. Think we might wait until end of this season and see if there are any bargains to be had. You never know, these people that have tried it this year due to credit crunch and dont like camping. We can live in hope lol. We are going to go to Yeomans camping exhibition in Ilkley in a couple of weeks so hopefully we can have another good luck at them again.
This photo is from last September first day in our Brand new Norfolk Lake - Only spent three nights in it and was FAB! recently bought a footprint + carpet and side canopy and cant wait to try it all out.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
