I am after a new tent, been looking at some online, and I like the Vango Orchy 600, Vango Tigris 600, but some one has given me another option the Vango Yukon 600.

The tent will be used for 2 adults + golden retriever + next year a baby. So I need a good size rest area, and a good size bedroom, but the tent need to be able to fit on a pitch without having to ask when booking, will my tent fit an a standard tent pitch!

Any advice would be great, going camping at the end of May, so I need to sort a tent out.

I will also be getting a carpet and a ground sheet, stops any damage from our dog paws, and makes it easily to pack up.

Thanks

We have a Yukon 800 and it will fit any pitch I have seen.It is an easy tent to pitch, the only problem I have heard of ( but not experienced) is that in the rain when the door gets opened, because of the sloping side,  water can drip onto the floor of the tent.It has a big end bedroom, which is the thing that really appealed to me.

We bought a Vango Orchy 600 last year.  Two adults and a three year old.  It was great in the soggy weather we had, no leaks and stood up to the wind well.  It fitted all pitches.

We've changed for a Vango Tigris 800 now just because I think I'm a glamper and like lots of room on a rainy day!  I would think an Orchy 600 would be enough room for you and you could always invest in an extension as the little one grows!

The Tigris range is new this year & has replaced the Yukon range. We have the Tigris 800 but have not used it yet!

What about the Vango OREGON800, has a sun canopy with it so the rain problem should be dealt with, I think this is about the same size as our Gelert Quebec and we have never had a problem on pitches with size.
