hi just bought the vango omega 350 2009 tent,is it a good solid tent against wind and rain?looks a good buy.hopefully im not dissapointed.

Congratulations Steviebhoy  I haven't got an Omega, but I was very impressed when I saw one at Taunton Leisure. It looks a good, strong little tent for a very reasonable price

I've got the Equinox which is very similar in style, but cost a hek of a lot more

hi i love the omega 350 i got but its hugggeee lol and heavy.think i should have went for the 250 because i could have took it backpacking,but its a impressive tent the 350.i heard the equinox is a very good tent as well :)

Yeah, I made the same mistake as you, I went for the Equinox 350, but after erecting it in the garden, I wished I'd gone for the 250 instead. As you say, it's huuuuuuuuuge

lol yes that equinox is a beast of a tent, packsize is heavy supposed to be solid for the elements though.I would love to know how my tent would stand against the wind and rain not had a chance to test it yet, if anyone has any reviews be glad if you could share them with me thanks.
