Hi guys, bit of help needed please.

Just noticed a Vango Tigris 800 on fleabay for £235.00

The Vango Tigris 600 is £210.00.

I've got a family of four - my two kids are 2 and 9 years.

Probably use a tent more for wekend camping with the odd one - two week thrown in a year.

For the extra £25.00 is it worth upgrading to the 800 series bearing in mind the extra size for predominantly weekend camping?

I know i'd probably regret not getting a larger tent come the longer break!

Your views please.

Thanks Mike

My local camping shop has both up on display and the 800 is a much better size for a family nearly bought one myself! , the second bedroom on the 600 is really narrow and looks like its just been crammed in the end sideways, where as the 800 is far more versatile in that you can have a four person room at one end ( nice size for 2 adults ) and a choice of one or both 2 berths at the other with a nice living area in the middle.

I wouldn't let the extra size put you off for weekends as i doubt it would make any difference in set up time between the two, tunnels are all fairly quick anyway.

I don't think therefore I'm not.

i think there is such a thing as too much space - hence we're selling our diablo 600... errm sounds like you've already decided that you're going for the bigger one so go for it!! (yes conflicting advice there)

Why is the Diablo too big for you?

Haha, yes I can see why now!

I would like a tent that will do the kids til theyre well into their teens and not worrying about tripping over each other. One boy, one girl too - privacy rule too!

We have just decided on The Vango Tigris 800 after seeing it in the fabric ( so to speak) lovely living space and I like the bedroom configuration. I am hoping I'll be able to put it up by myself should I need to.

Just looking where to buy it from, any advice !!!
