Hello!!

We are looking at updating our current Gelert Tornado tent and have just come across the Utah 4. We are looking for a decent size sleeping/storage area a long with a good living space for those not quite sunny days.

I just have a couple of questions if anyone has had a Utah 4 ~

~ How easy is it to put up with 2 people?

~ How easy it is to pack?

~ I see the Utah 6 has steel poles and wondered if the 4 did too?

Also, I see it doesnt have a built in groundsheet but it looks like it attaches to the tent somehow ~ just wondered how?

If anyone has any other information etc on it I would be very greatful. Or if anyone might recommend a 'better' tent please let me know

P.s We have looked at the carolina 3 but found the sleeping area to be a little small and the navada m/4 but think there living area isnt quite what we were after.

Hehe ~ how picky are we!!

Hi we are novice campers . No experience of putting up any other tent, but found
this one to be easy enough for two.The wind conditions at the time though, were
fairly good. All the poles are steel and the tent seemed very well made .The groundsheet
is a bathtub style and connects by means of a zip and elastic fasteners system  that creates  the shallow bathtub effect . The outer mudflap/skirt of the tent tucks
slightly under it .Hope I haven't confused you .
P.S.we removed the groundsheet from the tent after taking it down the first time
and packed it seperately in one of those large plastic ikea bags.
