My girlfriend and i are off around Cornwall for 10 days in September and are looking to purchase a tent, however it seems to be a bit of a minefield ! so we would be very grateful for some recommendations on what to buy, we don't really want to spend much more than around £80 and would like something quick and easy to erect (definitely not a pop up tent though) also I've heard bad things about Gelert ? so think I'd like to avoid them.

Plenty of tents under £100 . You would be surprised at what you could buy . Have a look at Mashall Leisure website , there are some tents I would happily have started off with at this price .
where abouts are you ? i've got a Tamor 500 (as pic above) only in blue. Haven't got a use for it now as we use a trailer tent, it only been used a couple of times let me know if your interested
