Hi, I am 5 foot two and rubbish at putting up tents, but found the Khyam XXL very straightforward to put up. Have you got someone to show/help you or a dvd to look at the first time you have a practice as it does make a difference if you know what it is you're supposed to do with a Khyam QE.

follow it put the triguys out as directed as the tent once partially erected needs securing to the ground.  First time out you may struggle with dome, don't worry it's normal when you have something new to you,  you don't want to break it so you don't force anything.  The dome will take it and the more you practice the quicker it goes up.

Not had that one, but have a Frontier Excelsior and a Ridgipod.

My key tips to add to what has been said already:

1. Keep the centre piece of the dome section held up when erecting and taking down, otherwise it is difficult/impossible to fold the joints on the 'legs' - as someone esle said, don't force it, they should go easily when in ther right position.

2. Watch the wind, there is lots of material which can easily get caught by even quite small gusts. If putting up by yourself take care to follow the instructions re using the tri-guys to stabilise the tent as you erect the main poles. If it gets blown by wind at this point, it is easy for one of the joints to break. They are strong, but twisting/bending in the wrong direction can break them. It's worth having spares of these
