Never bought an Outwell but most tents come with pegs
The problem is that the pegs are skinny useless things. If you pegged a paper bag to the grass with one then the bag would escape lol
Personally I would visit a camping store and buy some decent pegs. The metal v shaped ones are much better
Like these but in steel
They are not expensive are much more effective
There are many different pegs and if you go to a camping store they will help and advise you what to buy
And welcome to UKCS :)
Hope this helps

have you had it out the bag yet cos my outwell came with the pegs wrapped up inside the tent so I didn't find them until I actually unrolled the tent. But yes the tent should come with pegs, just look hard for them before you complain to the shop.
Saying that angieminx is right, the pegs they give are rubbish. I have replaced all my pegs with steel rock pegs. They suit us for all conditions and especially when we go to rocky sites.

Recently got an outwell and as above the pegs are in a bag inside.
However, as also above they are the standard skinny ones so buy a decent set anyway.

Yes, it should come with pegs but as already siad they are usually rolled up inside the tent or in the bag with the poles.
Same as Claude here too - all pegs replaced with stronger more heavy duty pegs and rock pegs plus Deltas for the guys.
With past Outwell tents it has been the thin Alu pegs BUT with the Michigan ALL the pegs are the blue plastic ones.
I wondered if this was just for the Michigan or a new thing with Outwells??------------- Keely :-))

Our first sunvalley 6 bought in early 2005 also came with half metal pegs half blue plastic ones.
I think someone at the outwell factory is just playing silly buggers with the peg selection. They probably know that they are all rubbish and know that we will all replace them with decent pegs whatever selection of pegs they supply us with!

Hi
thanks for the replies, although i have not had the chance yet to unroll the tent, i am sure after reading the posts they will be rolled in with the tent, I just thought it a bit strange they was not in with the poles or loose in the holdall with the mat and porch sheet etc.
I did a 200 mile trip to collect it and then have spent the rest of the weekend looking for a suitable car to transport everything.
If it stops dry today i will certainly be unrolling it before my maiden voyage this bank holiday. I just hope it's as easy as the outwell video to erect

We recently bought the Idaho xl and pegs were supplied. Staff in Go Outdoors said all the Outwell tents come with pegs.. I would go back to your supplier if I was you.
Hope this helps

The Idaho comes with blue plastic pegs but I have to admit, they are excellent. They compliment the Deltas & are rolled up inside, not tried them in very hard ground yet but they coped with the pebbles & stones in Wales.------------- Cliff (usually)
