Morning all,

I was wondering if you had any recommendations for a new tent? I have been camping for most of my life on and off, and havn't updated the equipment for a good few years. I am still using an old eurohike 3 man dome which is on its last legs, and have finally admitted I need a new one!

I want something spacious(ish) with a porch, apart from that I just don't want to spend the earth. Any suggestions would be good, Thanks.

Hello, we are just getting into camping after a trial weekend in April. We are a family of 4 and I wanted something biggish but for a limited budget. Have struggled to find any bargains till I had a brainwave and googled about for factory seconds. Found a site which does some. We have ordered a Khyam Ontario 8 and its costing £125 inc. delivery, we were told the fault would be minor, a frayed guy rope for example, and the tent would be fully usable.(This tent normally goes for over £200) They had a range of tents reduced in this way, you might find something that fits your requirements. Google Aspinalls caravans wirral and click the link to seconds tents to have a look.

We just brought an Outwell sunvalley 6, not used it yet but have tried it in the garden. Its not too big, and being a tunnel its easy to put up! Great porch on the front too. We brought last years model and got it cheaper, also I prefer the blue colour to the new brown
