I'm in the process of trying to choose a new family tent and have seen most of what's available on the internet but I'd really like to be able to see my shortlist in the flesh as it were.

Does anyone know of anywhere with good displays in the Yorkshire area? I already know about the one at Don Valley and the Yeomans show at Ilkley, both of those are on the cards for this weekend but does anyone know of any others?

Would like to see a Coleman Evolva, anyone seen one on display anywhere in Yorkshire?

Sorry Gareth, not a tenter but a shed-dragger.

However, Go1 Outdoors (formerly Mitchells )at Horbury Nr wakefield have had tent displays in an adjoining field for what seems like (and I think is) decades. Worth giving them a bell to see what they have out.

Evolva on display at JR Leisure at Nottingham , though phone to check it is still there. Be quick , Evolva stocks are low nationally.

Many thanks for the replies, will be ringing JRLeisure first thing in the morning (anyone know if their Manchester branch has an Evolva set up?) and GoOutdoors and Catterick caravans are added to the list to maybe visit over the weekend

Go Outdoors has opened a shop in Pudsey in Leeds too but not sure about the display as we've not been - the Wakefield shop definitely has one. Caseys camping in Otley has a tent display too - they're based in a garden centre. sure they have a website too if you google Caseys camping.
