Thanks Angie and Sunvalleysue - just saw the polyester bit and not the "katoen"

Given that it has a SIG and is polycotton then I think it probably is an alternative to the Bear Lake!!  And much lighter to boot!!

Nice to have choice - good tent in my book this.

Yes they appear to have copied the floorplan and design - but as for all the special bits that make BL6s the best tents out there - well !  

Im sure for your 399 euros - you will be getting a tent ( of sorts ) - but how it would compare to the lovely BL6 heaven knows -

In case you are curious, here is the link for Safarica.

It is in Dutch but all you have to do is click on polyester line, tc line or presto quick line which opens a new menu where you can look at their tents by model

we're a bit anal us bear lakers, very protective of our little grizzly tents.....!

it's like showing the cabanon gang a gelert frame tent and waiting for them to bite

think we are turning into camping snobs

tent looks fine, but weight probably reflects the price.  Nice alternative when you look at BL prices now (crazy i paid £480 last august, and they're now £799 - yes we were warned I know...Have all tents got up this percentage?)

Possibly partly to blame on the collapse of sterling vis a vis the Euro.  Outwell has to continue to make mega bucks so what better than to charge the Brits even more

We saw a BL  in a store here and they are not cheap in euros either.

Those are both cool Angie, if I didn't already have a Bear Lake I would buy one of the three alternatives shown here.

That Obelink site has got to be the best for tents - awesome tents at reasonable prices.
