Hi does anyone own a 2009 version of the Kyham Montreal? Just want to clear up some conflicting info...
Firstly is there one BIG bedroom that can be divided into 3 or two bedrooms (the largest of which can be divided into two)?
Would I be able to cook in the front porch area (have always cooked inside my old tent but the various threads on here have put me off and I haven't even brought myself to watch the u tube video of tent fires!)?
Also does anyone know if there is one I can see up near Gloucestershire?
I was interrested in the Outwell Vermont L but decided it was too pricey.
Thanks for any help / comments
:-)

We have just bought a Khyam Montreal. Not camped in it yet, this weekend, but have put it up for a test run.
There are two separate bedroom compartments, the larger of which divides into two.
I am unsure about the cooking in the canopy as we have not been away in it yet, but we are planning on doing all of our cooking under the canopy, just well away from the sides of the tent.
Hope that helps and if you have any more questions, ask after Sunday and I should be able to tell you!
We got ours from www.outdoorworld.co.uk. We paid £339 but if you buy the carpet at the same time you got 20% off the carpet, which took it down to something like £57 or something, much cheaper than anywhere else we had seen it. We also searched for a discount code and got 5% off, which knocked another £25ish off the whole order (we also got footprint, windbreak, baby sleeping bag and ehu).
Having seen the tent up you certainly get a lot of tent for your money! Haven't had any real problems booking sites for the rest of the year with the size of it either.
Trip was great. Weather unfortunately not so great! I think we must have picked the most exposed site in England, or it felt like it! The wind was quite blustery to say the least.
Got the tent pitched in around an hour then spent another hour or so "tweaking". Was paranoid we were going to blow away in a big balloon! However, despite our very amature pitching, the tent stood up to the weather very well and lets just say that I am confident that it is waterproof!!
However, on a positive note, it reinforced why we had bought a tent with large living area in the first place. The living area is huge and we did not get under each other's feet at all despite leaving the site only once. The canopy was great for cooking in even in the terrible weather.
Would definately recommend the tent.

glad you had a good time, we are hoping for good weather for our trip in August, it's been 6 years since we've had good weather!
Did the wind catch under the porch, worried about 'flapping noise' in the night, I had an add on type porch last year and it flapped so much we took it down at 4am!
Hi we have been away in ours a couple of times now and no problems with flapping at all, We did cook under the canopy but away from the tent if that makes sense.
I love the size of the living area and our bedrooms are 2 sections. 4 + 2 but the 4 can be zipped round for 2 x2
