Hi everyone, we've got a Yeomans show in Newquay starting this week and would like some advice.

Based on experience, is there generally a good stock of the tents and equipment on display, or do you generally have to order at show for delivery at later date?

Also, are the prices much lower or about the same as buying on line?

Look forward to your replies.

To answer the first question ,there will be stock of display tents , which will be replenished as central stock allows. As for special deals, there might be something, but it is more likely to be a footprint and carpet deal . Though not an official policy , you can get them to price match, but usually need to speak to the head honcho .

Thanks Numbersix, will contain the "need to buy and get the decision making over with" feeling for a few more days and go and have a look.

Don't think they've got all the makes we've been looking at but at least will be able to confirm style (hope so as we've come to a final decision at least 3 times already!) and if the right one is there at the right price the quest may be over and our heads can have a rest.

Yes , have a good walk round and don't be affraid to borrow furniture to get the scale of tents ,because, just like houses , they look very different with all your stuff in .Also have an eye on the future,Look at canopies and extensions, utility tents and pup tents . Sometimes you can spend less and have more if you decide to have a separate area to eat and prepare food .
