Hi there all..newbie here and my first post. We have just ordered a Coleman Matrix X6, for £200 from singer out doors. We have a vw camper but only two can sleep in it now the boys have grown too big for the the roof and cab bunk. The camper is a 1972, sand needs some work, so we though a large tent to fit us all in that we can use with a car, trailer and roof box. I did really want a Kyam Longleat for the easy erect sysytem, but the coleman is les than half the price, bigger and airier..but heavier in it's carry case.
Once we get it and take it camping...we will post some piccies and write a review.
One of my stipulations was a sewn in ground sheet and 2 separate bedrooms.
What was your reason for buying a coleman X6 may I ask?
have not bought one yet, but I just like the look of the matrix on paper, not seen it in the flesh though. I do prefer the shape of the royal biarritz 6 which is slightly less L shaped than the matrix 6. Now thinking of the wynnster cygnus instead.
I also wanted the children to have a separate bedroom as it is more of an adventure that way.
enjoy your tent....
