I was also deliberating on the Zanzibar or the Maryland and ended up with the Maryland XL. Just pitched it yesterday in our field and it's fantastic! I guess it depends on how much room you need and whether you want the (IMO) better layout of the Maryland or the luxury of polycotton with the Vango. Also depends on how many of you there are as to how many bedrooms you need.
I really wanted polycotton but couldn't afford a tent in that fabric that had the layout I wanted so decided on the Maryland for the space and couldn't be happier! Good luck with your decision.
