i have recently aquired a outwell utah 6 2008 model (i think!) the markings on the bags both say utah 6 and on the blue canvas of the tent, however on the mud valance it says utah 8! is there a reason for this?

hi there, yes it is second hand but only erected once as was too big for the original purchaser, have just returned from first weekend away in it and yes it's as good as new, all labels and tags still attached, no markings on the guy ropes etc (there are now!) brilliant tent though
I can only assume it's a misprint, if you've pitched it and had no problems. The 8 has an extra bedroom pod at one side, so if something belonged to the wrong model you would have a section of tent or groundsheet that didn't match the rest.
I don't think you need to worry.
