Hi, we bought a fab Outwell Nevada second hand to see if we like camping. Yes after two trips it is fab, especially for the kids. However we are struggling to pitch it and are wondering if anyone out there can offer us some help- what is the secret regarding the webbing straps that run underneath the tent to attach to the pre tensioned arches.  My other half is a big burly strong fella but really struggles to get the pins into the bottom of each pole. xx Any advice greatly received. Big thanks xx

Hi Sarra and welcome to UKCS.

Just make sure that the straps are fully slackened off.
It is the same method as a lot of other Outwell tents, including our Sunvalley 6.
The poles should be colour coded to correspond with the same colour sleeves.
I know sometimes when you first come to bend the poles into shape you feel as though they are going to snap, but they are fibre glass and will take a lot of welly.

We bought the Nevada M on Saturday and managed to put it up in about one hour, then we found the video on the outwell site , we were pretty much spot on at putting it up, but packing away was a different story, just waiting for a dry day so we can do it all again.

Hi
Ill save you all a load of time.

1 - peg the four corners of the tent making sure ant adjustable straps are slack.

2 - Open the front door.

3 - Slide the front poles through the pole sleeve and fix with the ring and pin system. The front pole will be standing and your tent wont be in a tree if its windy.

4 - close the front door and repeat number 3 working your way back one pole at a time.

5 - if the weather is windy guy each pole out as you go.

6 - Peg all other guy ropes and fixing points etc.

Ten - fifteen mins max....
