It usually has a little electric plug symbol on the side of the tent that indicates where to put the cable (through the zig) I know thats what it is on the Norfolk Lake.

if you look inside there will be five or six velcro straps from the centre of the tent down to one side which are cable ties for a light they lead to the hookup entry point, atleast they do on the bear lake 6,
