The Michigan is not perfect (opening the front door from inside requires you to get on your knees) but it is the best of the bunch and, unlike the others, you can get away with not buying a canopy/extension as extra.
I believe that it's the best combination of stability, space, light, etc. I like and would seriously consider it were I in the market.

We have the same problem with the sloping front of the Sunvalley 6.What we do is have a piece of guyrope(about 3feet long)attched to the zipper so when you want to open/close the door you are not on your knees stretching into the farest point to get to the zip.Just grab hold of the end of the rope.
I also think the Outwell Michegan is the best of your list, although the Vango Orchy has quite a few admirers on these forums.

we have seen the orchy 600 in the flesh, but none of the others

Did you enjoy Windmill Farm? You were concerened about it being basic; was it?
Make sure you do a review for the campsite and the Michigan .

The maine L you can get at go outdoors for £149, ive looked at one and I didn't like the fact it didnt have a SIG also with the cross over poles it wouldn't go up as fast as a tunnel.
Our Iowa is brill but I would love to get the canopy for it.
