We managed to get rid of kids last weekend and didnt want to take the Idaho xl.
went to Go Outdoors Bristol and bought Nevada 3 for £100. Great tent for a short break. Pitched in 25 mins. Rained a couple of nights solid and all kit was dry as a bone. Room for 2 chairs and table in "sitting room".
We even squashed 2 double air beds in to bedroom so we had loads of sleeping space. we then chucked one bed ontop of the other to create more space. A great addition to our tent family.

Hi, have you got this canopy and if so is it any good on the nevada 3. Our tent is blue so not sure how they would look together

I can highly recommend the Licata 400 as an ideal weekend tent.

Yes, I do have it as does another member of the forum. It works very well on a practical level but don't expect a perfect colour match. Not groos, however.
If you want to go up market , the Outwell Carolina 3 is about as good as it gets , though it also worth checking out the smaller berth Kampa models also .
------------- Be seeing you!!

Hi i loved this other tent but my OH said it was ugly, I told him he had no taste.
Thanx everybody for advice and we actually went for a Coleman Springrock 4.
We got the Oregon 3 last weekend for less than £90 inc footprint. Had plenty of room for the both of us and was up in around 10 minutes. Not standing height but hubby said that we don't need to do anything other than lie down when we get rid of the kids for a weekend
