Have just had a trial run at putting up our sv8. Wow what a fab tent that is.

I can't wait to get off to France to use it next week. Only problem we had is when arching the poles I wasn't strong enough/tall enough to help hubbie keep them up and ended up droping the lot each time but other than that it was really quick to put up.

It took us 1 hours 15 mins to put up and put away (we didn't peg out).

Not bad for a first time.

Our old tent took the same time and it was about 1/4 of the size LOL

Hi Kara,

Get OH to hold the poles upright while you get a couple of guys on (thats what we do)
Tbh, I do all the pegging out because OH has arthritis and can't kneel.
We can have our SV6 up in 15 minutes with all the guys on,then I just have to finish pegging around the bottom.
