My Michigan extension (albeit attached to my Carolina) canopy took an absolute hammering last night the wind was pushing it right down, I was convinced a pole would snap or worse, got out to check it this morning its spot on, well impressed.
We had some strong wind one day last week when out with our Michigan and the extension.
The extension was really easy to use and put up and attached easily and quickly.
Didn't have any rain so can't say if it solved the problem of rain getting in.
Not and awful lot of extra room at first looking but with the front rolled up then it a lot better.
On THE windy day I thought the canopy was going to give way as it took a real side on battering and kept getting knocked in at the front left side (as sitting in it)
It held up well and sprang back every time which left me wondering if with the metal poles it would have moved at all or would it have tried to resist and do some damage(?!?!?)
The only bad thing was the extension tore slightly at the pint where the pegging loop was joined to the bottom of the extension so am thinking on that as to if it was us, the weather or the extension.

Phoned Yeomans last week even though their website stated out of stock. Very helpful and one on its way to us as we speak ;-) Phone number off website not local shops.
Just used our Michigan for the first time in horrific weather and it held up to the challenge. Did not miss the extension and not sure it would have held up to the wind.
