Just bought Khyam Toronto and pitched in back garden to check it out. It's great, really pleased. A good sized family tent with lots of room. The only slight problem was the fabric for the porch got in the way whilst trying to erect some of the main roof poles. Not a big deal but it was a bit fiddly. Has anyone out there got the same tent or anything similar (with attached porch) to give any tips? Thanks

We also bought a Khyam Toronto and we think it's great. The porch is huge and so useful. We've been real lucky with the weather so haven't had to use it as a wet gear dumping ground yet too!!
Like you we struggle with the porch area a bit but it gets easier each time. I'm better at getting under the yards of fabric and inserting the poles so I usually do that bit. We've got the assembly down to a fine art now.
We erect and line-up each set of poles to their respective coloured sleeves before we begin and then work from one end to the other. This is what the instructions guide you to do.
We're away this week and I'm going to try something different to the above. We'll let you know if it works!
Hi
Not been able to find a Toronto in the flesh yet
Seen an Ontario to get an idea of internal space.
Does the Toronto have a back door as well as the porch?
Also does it have the "curtains" on the windows on the inside or outside?
(I am used to an Outwell Montana where you can roll up the opaque window cover from the inside and it has a mesh and/or plastic cover as well - all adjustable from the inside.)
Am deciding whether to upgrade to Montana 6 or Toronto
The Toronto has a back door as well as the porch but as for the curtains/cover, I can't remember, I think they are on the outside, I'll let you know after this weekend, we are hopefully giving the tent it's first run (weather permitting)!
The strange reason that they are no longer being made is that Eurotech that owned Kyham and Wynnster went bust and the new company which are the same people who owned Eurotech restarting with no debts are doing all different tents but you will be lucky to see any in the flesh as most retailers I have heard will not stock them due to way they were treated as dealers under Eurotech and the way the new company wants to do business.
