Hello

I hope you can help me. I want a tent for 5 people to sleep in and I think a tent for 6 people will be best.

I want standing height even for the flap.

Which tent shall I have?

Vango Diablo 600XP or DLX if you want a dome with sleeping pods.

There are 4 of us and we have a Diablo 900XP, loads of room and the kids get a pod each to sleep in.

Vango Zanzibar 600 - Polycotton tent sleeps 6.

Steel frame tent - plenty of height throughout - which is why we purchased ours.

Great 'living' area when the weather isn't so good! No condensation issues.

SIG - good canopy - 3 bedroom pods.

Not cheap, but worth it :)

Outwell Hartford L is a dome with 2 x 3 berth bedroom pods. Our friends also have one and he is 6 foot plus and has no problems at all standing.

If your after something a bit more manageable yet still with standing room we are selling our Vango Orchy 600 which also has the large front canopy, footprint and a carpet. We have only used it for 4 nights and its like new. Its in the Sage/Laurel colours and we brought it all new in June this year. If your interested you can contact us at gary.s at hotmail.co.uk. (need to change the AT in the email obviously)

For 5 people you should be looking at a minimum of 7 berth.
The Khyam Ontario 8 is a fab tent and I can highly recommend it.

* SIG
* Groundsheet goes flat at doors so no trip hazard
* Standing height (225cm)
* Bedrooms can comfortably take 8 x 75cm airbeds (so a genuine 8 berth!!)
* Massive living area
* Very easy to pitch
* Fits on a standard pitch (tent measures 7.5m x 3.7m)
* Doors can be canopied open to form sun porch
* Good ventilation
* Large windows with curtains allows lots of light in
* Cable entry points

You can also buy footprint grounsheet, carpet and sun porch to make it a real home from home.
