Hi everybody

I am looking for a weekend tent and I am sorely tempted by the Baltic Sea but do you think it would be just too small for the 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 kids (12, 10 & 5)?

I believe it is the same size as the Oregon 5 so if there are any Oregon or Baltic users out there please put me out of my misery!

Cheers

Sharon

I would not have wanted to cram you all in my Oregon 5 - you would not be comfortable imo!

What do you sleep on? Using airbeds, I'd say no more than 3 people in the Oregon.

Kids would be on mats, hubby and myself on a airbed - I need some comfort!

Have the Aruba for week+ holidays but I really need a tent which is quick to erect for just a couple of nights. Does anyone have any suggestions for a tent that is comfortable with standing height in the living area and, most importantly, does not break the bank.

I love the Outwell polycotton range but the budget simply does not stretch further than the Baltic Sea L at around £250.

Cheers

Sharon

We've just recieved out Baltic Sea L. (actually our second, first one had a seam fault so was swapped-out today, excellent service from Yeomans).

Had trial pitch at the weekend (would have slept out in it but for the fault) and the smaller inner takes 2 thermarest mats and would have room for rucsac at foot end (so that's the side where our 2 kids are going).  Other side will have ample room for my wife and I along with the rest of the luggage.  Looks comfortable for 4 with some bags, less so for 5 - bags would probably have to reside in the outer.  But then if you're only using it for weekends (our intention also) then you won't be spending ages in there and you won't have *too* many clothes.....  Excellent headroom
