After much research we have finally got our tent choice down to two:
Outwell Montana 6
OR
Outwell Vermont L
The second is the pricier of the two and whilst we would prefer the cheaper option, we have 1 toddler and a baby on the way. We would really like all 4 of us in the same room, at least for the first season. Not sure if there would be room in the Montana for this as it has a set up of 3+3 as opposed to the Vermont’s 4+2.
I have read the reviews and both seem popular. Was wondering if anyone had any experience of them both and could offer advice? That is if I am able to get either of them at this time of year!
Many thanks

Hi,
The Vermont L is my favourite polyester tent,it is spacious, has the built in cupboard/wardrobe,has a massive front enclosed porch, thick solid steel poles and is very easy to erect.
The thing that wins it for me over the Montana(which imo is a great tent)is the big porch and the wardrobe.

Our tent has a 4+2 bedroom lay out and we fit a double and a single airbed in the 4 pod. Some montanas have 2 bedrooms that unzip into one big one this might be better for the four of you
Vermont every time. Monty 6 is a lovely tent but doesn't have the flexibility of the Vermont. The wardrobe is invaluable as is the porch area. We have our kitchen set up in the porch on one side and use the other side for shoes etc. This still leaves us loads of room in the main living area to eat, play etc.
Have used our Vermont for two years now and haven't seen anything we like better.
