I have just bought an Outwell Nevada 3 tent from Go Outdoors. Great tent at a brilliant price. £89.99. We took it to the New Forest last week and had a very comfortable 3 days.

The only addition i am looking for is a front door canopy and have researched the Vango sun canopy standard, which looks like it might fit. Does anyone have any feedback as to whether this canopy is suitable.

Thanks

There have been several threads about this.

Do a search for 'Nevada 3 canopy' and you should have some answers.

Hello and welcome to the forum.  First post!!  17

As r+a oxon states, there have been a few posts on this if you use the "search" function at the top of the page.

Basically you have the chose of a Vango Large Sun Canopy or the Aztec single pole canopy (click here).  The Vango has windows but the Aztec is cheaper.  Both work fine.

Hi again,

We have just got back from a very wet and windy weekend in the Peak District.

We have a Vango Standard canopy and it worked superbly!

It stood up to the head on and cross winds with out a problem.

I could cook under it and it kept the rain out of the tent.

Highly recommended.

I am using a Montana 4 canopy with the nevada 3 I have just bought and am very pleased with the fit despite being told it would not work by a couple of retailers. I looked at measurements and as it is slightly bigger and made by Outwell thought it had a chance of working. I got it at Blacks for £40 on agreement with a very helpful sales person that I could bring it back if it didn't work.
