Got the new tent today - yippee!  Now I need a footprint and am having a problem finding one in stock somewhere.  Anyone any ideas??  I have seen the Lidl tarpaulin offer starting on Wed, dimensions 5 x 4 m, from what I can gather fractionally smaller all round than the Montana, so think that until I can find a footprint, will try and get one of these (plus the price is good......)

The tarp will be just as good, and it needs to be just smaller all around. I've only ever used B&q cheap tarps as footprints and never had any problems with them.

The lidl one should be fine.Montana tent size is 415cm wide x 585cm long.The width is perfect at 4m,as regards the length I would keep a bigger gap at the back of the tent where the inner is,as you don't walk on that area very much.
At £7.99 at lot cheaper than the Outwell footprint.

I have searched and phoned everywhere to get an Idaho XL footprint and everywhere is sold out and i think you'll find it's the same with Montana Footprint ,  so did someone say that B&Q sell tarps ? going away for a weekender in two weeks time so i need something sorted out quick.....17
