Hi, have you considered the Utah 8 which is nearly the same but a hell of a lot cheaper seeing as its the 2008 model which was replaced by the Dakota..£279.95 at Yeomans.
Hi laroosky, over the past 2/3 weeks i called everywhere in the country to get hold of a Dakota 8 , all to no avail (went for Idaho XL instead) , was told nobody has any stock left not even Outwell themselves , and they won't get any new stock until the new season starts next year.
They had the Dakota 4 on display at Camperlands, thats were we first saw the Dakota, we went for Dakota 6 bought from all weathers for £299 Have to say, we are more than delighted with the tent! I have done a review on it and there are some pictures of ours on there, if thats any help?

Not sure where you live but we bought our Dakota 8 from Camping and Leisure World in Frensham (nr Farnham, Surrey) where they've had one on display all Summer. We love ours, a very spacious tent, easy to put up and survived a storm on a cornish cliff no problem at all. Well wortth the money if you can find one!
