ok we have narrowed it down to 3 tents but we can't decide which to choose so could do with some helpful advice.
The 1st is the Hartford XXL,
The 2nd is the Vango Diablo900dlx
The 3rd is the Royal Biarritz 9
Also if any knows somewhere where we could see them we live in cheshire but willing to travel upto an hour! :)

Hi
I don't have any personal experience of any of these tents but in previous posts people have mentioned being unable to book onto some sites and be charged double at others with this style of tent. This is because the multi pods take up a much larger area than say a tunnel type tent.

have just seen the coleman mackenzie 8 last week & i WANT one!!!
I cant believe how simple it is to put up, the windows, the doors, the canopy & the flexible sleeping inners & it is a simple tunnel tent.
My own tent is ok - i wish it wasnt so i could justify one this year - roll on next year!!!
------------- Cheers Lor

You don't have to justify - if we did that most of the camping industry would be redundant !!------------- Be seeing you!!

Be very careful when thinking about buying this style of tent - their footprint is huge. We had a Hartford XXL and found many sites didn't want us!
We love a big tent but go for the tunnel shape.
