We've used our Gelert meridian 10 tent a couple of times now and there appears to be some mold and dirt over the front and side of the tent. I thought the tent was dry when we packed it away. What's the best way of cleaning it off. We love our tent and I dont want to ruin it. The dirt is easy to remove just by wiping it down with a damp cloth. Are there any cleaning fluids that would help with the mold.

The mould wont go away no matter what you do to it but you can prevent it from spreading further with a weak solution of milton sterilising fluid and water.
Normal dirt will just wash off with clean, plain water.
No detergent or it could affect the waterproofing.
We had some mold on a Vango Diablo in the past and we managed to get rid of most of the black marks by using a mixture of lemon juice salt and water mixed together and sponging the area then leaving it to dry in the sun.
Good luck

I had this problem and got slated on here for not drying it properley in the first place!! ANYWAY.....i tried everything and i mean every suggestion in the book / site. Nowt removed the stains but a solution of 5-9% hydrogen peroxide brushed in adequately killed the fungus so it didn't spread.
