I HAVE BROUGHT ONE OF THESE A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO AND ONLY NOW GOT AROUND TO DO A TEST ERICTION,EVERYTHING SEEMS OK BUT FOR A SMALL THING-------

AT THE BOTTOM FRONT THERE ARE A SERIES OF TOGGLES  WHAT DO THESE DO,ICANT SEEM TO WORK IT OUT (perhaps i have not got my brain in gear).IT APPEARS THAT RAIN CAN GET IN AROUND THIS AREA,HOPING SOMEBODY WHO HAS GOT A COLUMBUS 4 CAN HELP

I didn't know either but from reading other posts (about different tents) I think they are to raise the weather flaps up for ventilation. The ground sheet isn't fully sewn in, but we haven't had any problems with rain getting in. You just need to make sure the corners are pegged out at the front properly and the rain runs off.
