Hi

Can someone enlighten me as to if you get a groundsheet with the Equinox 350 please ?

The same stock photo on all the websites doesn't show one, and the Vango description implies it's optional "Footprint groundsheet available protects inner tent and your gear"

Thanks all!

Sandy

Hi Sandy,

Sorry you've had no luck with the Omega.  I was looking at the Equinox 350 myself a couple of week ago at Go Outdoors and they didn't have a groundsheet in the living/porch area.  I was told you have to buy the footprint seperate, as you've said above.

Hope you get sorted

Sandra

Hi Sandra

I spoke to Complete Outdoors on the phone, they were confident they'd be getting some Omegas in this week, so sounds hopeful.

Then I decided rather then mess around I may as well buy the Equinox, a good tent I think. But then I saw there was no g/sheet. Even the footprint sheet is I guess just a flat sheet, no bathtub shape, an excellent way of letting rain and wind in.

I'd like an Equinox with a SIG. Somebody make one!

Think I'm back on the Omega!

True, no groundsheet with the Equinox 350 17

I haven't used mine yet, but I've bought a cheap tarp to make my own footprint groundsheet, and I intend to cut strips of fabric and sew them onto the bottom of the tent to make a draught skirt, which will also keep the rain out.
