Over the weekend, bought a Florida from a guy who was emigrating to New Zealand.Got the tent, footprint and carpet for 400 quid,Only been used once for three days,Bargain I thought.
Pitched Yesterday, managed quite easy, after some great advice from the previous owner,The difficult part was getting it back in its case???? Any advice from Florida owners out there?? Why dont tent suppliers supply larger holdalls for these tents??
Anyway really pleased with the tent, changed for the vango diablo 600 ( For Sale on here with footprint, canopy and carpet ) the Florida is a much better tent in my opinion, having said that,The Vango has been an excellent tent, and has never let us down.

------------- SLEEPS FOR WHIMPS!!!!!!!
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
That's odd Stupot, Outwell bags are normally oversized. Did you use the bag as a guide so that you folded the tent up to match the length of the bag? Then when rolling it up, did you keep the roll REALLY neat and tight?
Also, did you fully release the straps on the bag? Oh yes...open the doors before packing (Close them before erecting though)
we fold ours from ends into middle, then go to edges again then into middle repeat until you are folding ontop of each other (length of the bag)....then fold each end over as small as possible pushing the air out as you go along.
you should meet in the middle---this is good because where ever u go on your hols go into the centre of where u want to pitch and you know where the tent should be when you open the whole lot up.
hard explaining but u'll find your way in the end. we're new to the whole florida thing and our first proper holiday will be at easter too. hope its not too wet and windy!!!!
