When you say large porch, would this be your living area?

Are you sure you've read the instructions?

Hello Clair and welcome to the forum.

Most tents that have a sewn in groundsheet (SIG) will have it in the living areas ie the bedroom and living space but not in the porch area.

To properly help you, could you please let us know what budget you have in mind; if you want to stand up in it; how many people/animals will be using it; do you like a particular type of tent (Dome/Tunnel etc?) Will you be pitching it alone or with help?

budget of around £150,would love to be able to stand up in it and it would be for 2 adults. i will be pitching the tent with help on this occasion but may be alone on other trips.  the reason i mention sewn in groundsheet in porch area is because the last tent i slept in heavy rain got into the porch area, any help would be great.
