Looking at the shows coming up for later it does not seem to have any for tents and the like. It all seems to be covering motor homes and the like. Are there any shows worth going to in the coming months which have a leaning to camping under canvas and if so where and when. Any info would be welcome.

think there is one at gmex manchester january over 100 tents so iv heard but might be a bit far for you

Thanks bernie bann for the info. January would not be a problem subject to weather conditions for traveling as I live in Norfolk. I will keep an eye out for this. As a newcomer to camping it just seems a little strange that it appears that the only way you can see tents and the like is at camping shops. Whilst this is o/k up to a point you are not going to see the full scope as no shop would be able to carry all the ranges that a show could. I expect the reason is financial in as much as the cost of tents to a motor home dont stack up but none the less is disapointing

Hi Steve.

The Feb NEC show seems to be the main contender, with over a 100 tents promised to be on display, although the tent area is sponsored by Yeomans which I guess limits the brands available, also I was not aware of the show that bernie mentions, I thought the show at Gmex now called Manchester Central, in Jan was mostly Caravans and Motorhomes, so will look into that.
