Hi - I want to get my husband a Gelert Horizon 8 for his Christmas - however I can't find one in stock anywhere - can anyone help? I see there is one on ebay and am watching it, but there must be some shops out there with it.

But, seeing as he probably won't be using it until Spring, howabout you make him up some sort of voucher with a pic or something on (I'm not that creative) and give him that, and see if you can get one when they bring the new ones out? I did see on one website that they are now discontinued?

Or, you could buy one of those kids play/toy tent things and watch the confusion on his face when he opens it

The naughty streak in me adores this idea :)
I would do a treasure hunt with clues leading to a gorgeously gift wrapped childs play tent with a final note saying something like " This will magically turn into a Gelert Horizon 8 as soon as the store has then in stock"
At least you dont have to worry about paying too much and it will give OH a giggle and something to really look forward to after the hype of xmas has gone :)

I am buying OH a flying lesson for Christmas, I was just going to buy an Airfix plane for him and let him guess for a while, but I love the treasure hunt idea as well.
I could do it with things like a CD of the dambuster march, some flying googles, etc - thanks for the idea!

Thanks for all the ideas...I may still have to resort to this - love the play tent idea. Have found the tent on ebay but now have started a new topic as am confused.....if you can help it is under....'Ok so I have found a tent...'
