Hi

I thought the Horizon was the same as the Wynnster Raven and the Kyham Ontario 8. They both come in one bag....... Just ordered my Ontario off ebay : )

Our Khyam Ontario 8 came in a 2 in 1 bag - everything in 1 large bag and poles in a seperate bag inside the main one IFSWIM!!

Never managed to get everything back into 1 bag and actually find it easier to lift and carry using 2 seperate bags.
Don't think there is anything dodgy about it and world of camping are very reliable sellers.

There is no real difference between the tents - just made by different makers.
Our Onty 8 is a fabulous tent and I would highly recommend it (or one of its near neighbours!!)

Poohzee,

That Horizon 8 looks a good tent, and if you can get it at less than £200 its a bargain.

I don't think there's much difference between the quality of the Gelert Horizon and the Kyhan Ontario, they are very similar tents.

When I was looking at the Horizon8 in 2008 (the previous version) it was quoted as 5000mm HH too, but for some reason they downgraded the rating for last years model, but I wouldn't worry about that as a factor, 3000mmHH is enough and it's probably actually more than that.

The good thing about the Horizon: they added mesh to the outer doors last year which is a great addition, and it has the end door that you can open. I don't know whether the Khyam has these features.

The retailer looks reputable, and the brand is good. I'd say go ahead with it.

Definately a fair weather camper. I don't like rain. Rain + Tent = Trouble.
