Campasarow - having just become the proud owner of an (excellent) second hand Evolva and pitched it in the garden I can see the problem with the poles and although I've waded through this thread I'm still a bit baffled as to what to do - can you enlighten me please?
Thanks

Anne,
I've posted a rely on the other thread you started but in short e-mail me on davecrisfield at talktalk.net and I will go through it in a more detailed email off forum.
Just bought myself a genuine 11cm diameter Coleman Wrapflex spare pole for £1.99 from BCH Camping in Trowbridge to make myself a correct length extension for the green pole.
The good thing is the pole has a ferrule at both ends so I can make myself two extension pieces for the price of one and have one as a spare.

Good move. By the way, I just had a weeks camping with my revised poles, and they worked out a treat :)
That's good news.
So, just to be claear (again) I need to cut a 17.5cm extension piece?

Mine needed to be 17cm - as per the measurements below:
Just make sure that your shortened blue + green + extension come to 410cm (give or take).

I emailed Colemans again yesterday - had a read receipt almost straight away but no response again yet
Anne,
try e-mailing Stefan Hund direct explaining you're not getting a reply. I don't mind you saying you got his e-mail from me given the problems you're having.
is the problem with the poles causing the roof to leak?...i just posted a new thread about mine, and am trying to read all the old threads to catch up.......colemans rep told me in 2008 that it was my fault the connector touched the rood of the tent because i hadnt set it up properly!!
i lost half my holiday because it rained for 3 days solid and leaked like mad!
